President Girma holds talks with Greater Houston Partnership President President Girma Woldegiorgis here on Wednesday held talks with Greater Houston Partnership President and Chief Executive, Jeff Moseley.

President Girma on the occasion said the existing relations between the country and the partnership should further be strengthened.

Girma said the government will provide support to the partnership in its effort to construct libraries for the Haremaya University and the Harar Town.

Culture and Tourism Minister, Ambassador Mahmoud Dirir on his part said Moseley provided support in the efforts to arrange Lucy fossil exhibit at Houston Museum of Natural Science.

Moseley on the occasion said he came to Ethiopia to sign a memorandum of understanding to construct the libraries and further strengthen the existing relations between the Houston and the Ethiopian business communities.

Moseley also said that his father had taught in Haremaya University for some years.

Lucy, the 3.2-million-year-old skeleton of a woman was discovered in Ethiopia in the 1970s.
