If you listen close to him singing, you would notice his voice hasn't changed at all, the way he is singing has changed. He still has the voice in him just isn't using it. I'm sure once he transitions to Blink 182 from AVA, he will sing closer to blink 182 style. Also note that these songs haven't been memorized forever, they probably had to mostly relearn the songs in a limited time period due to the date of their first show and when Travis got healthy.

Too slow. I loved it when they played their songs fast back then, but only at concerts
