Kimber Solo 9mm Break-in Test Fire.
My wife and I took turns shooting almost 200 rounds through it. We are not expert shots and definatly need more practice. I only shoot once a year with the Army, and my wife doesn't shoot, so please don't be too hard on our poor shot groups. But we had a lot of fun shooting, and want to do more.

  • Good video, enjoyed it. Yes, the black Kimpro finish is prone to scratching and wear. Yours looks normal for a Solo.

  • @Chuck23250 OK, thanks for lettin me know.

  • Packmyer grips makes a rubber sleeve for compact pistols. Did you have any trouble with the mag ejecting during firing ?

  • @lambey1218 Thanks. I had no issue with the mag release. If I do in the future I'll let you know.

  • the second group of rounds you shot were .115 gr fmjs right? doesn't the manual suggest .125gr or heavier?

that could be what causes your ftf

  • Real trouble getting in the 6 th round. 5 was no problem with my solo

  • I had trouble real r

  • Nice job. I saw someone recommended hougue, but I do not know if they have anything available for the Solo yet. I do know that crimson trace laser grips has a product that wraps the front of the grip and also acts as an actuator for the laser if that is something you would be interested in. It may be good in low light conditions

  • Hogue rubber grips work great. I have one on my pm9

  • Great video! As for your question regarding the grip.. You could try to wrap a bit of bicycle inner tube around the grip to give you some better traction
