What a beautiful sight!
The best part was when we got drenched - because we were right under the highest point of the fountain; We were caught by this wonderful surprise when it came down, fell as heavy rain on us!
enjoy!

  • the water drenching effect is quite mild and truly enhances the experience of watching. and it happens right at the end of the show which means that it was no random thing :)

  • I think that they did it on purpose. I think they wanted to show the true height of the fountain on opening day. Besides, it's only water. I have been to the Bellagio Fountains and I was close to the highest shooting point of the fountain which is the large circle. There was a sudden gust of wind and when all the water shot up, it came in our direction and got the whole area drenched. I think it just enhances the experience to be there watching it. :)

  • The music is from civilization 4:-)

  • you have a good point... but the bellagio show also use's the same method of lowering how high the fountains shoot into the air due to the wind... and yet all the shows are still beautiful.. and yea sorry for saying dumbass...

  • sigh.. why do you feel the need to attack others? I'm merely critiquing an aspect of their design, being so close to viewers on that side.

I'm well aware of WETdesign's problem with wind and edges. But how aesthetically pleasing is it to use lower power to address that problem? When Fountains of Bellagio's outer ring widen and close, does the artificially lower power of the back destroy the beauty inherent in symmetry and balance? I'd think so.

  • sorry but ur a dumbass... of course WETdesign thought of the wind problem... they have the same show with the fountains set to go a shorter hight with different speed of winds... the ppl controlling it tho didnt set it so they shot the fountains to high and the wind cought the water... its actually kinda common sense

  • that's pretty poor design if the show can't tolerate some common wind and drench people so easily.

  • I think it's just water, why u were afraid zzz
