Why I love a V8

Torque is so much fun. To put this in perspective let me give you some horsepower numbers. At 3000rpm I am only making about 165whp. and at 4000rpm I am making about about 235whp. Not a big amount of horsepower. But at those same RPM's my V8 is making 290 tq and at 4000rpm I am making my peak tq of 310. So while my hp is down my car still accelerates fairly briskly. God I love a V8.

ok to start off its a mustang, almost all mustang 98-02 have this type of gauges and the speedo finishes at 150... second its kinda slow to get to 60 from 30mph... and this car doesnt make 235whp, it makes around 215-220 hp... and dont tel me its a K&N cuz it would only go up like 8-10hp, and dont say it a rebult eng, cuz u would more torque...

in final this is a v8, wastes gas like a v10, and runs like a v6,,, jk bro... nice pull btw

@01Z06guy so basically you are saying that a car in order to do nord in 7.19 with super slicks in dry weather is better than a car that does nord in stock tyres and wet conditions in 7.24. Not to mention the 180hp difference.

Going into topgear track, w/ similar conditions, the GTR beats ZR1 1.19:7 to 1.20:4.

He has full bolt on's including EVERYTHING you can do to a car, from drive shaft, to headers to tune. He's barely making 261 HP to the wheel (which is what your performance times are depended on.) He's also barely getting 14.1 in the 1/4 mile. I want to believe you because I'm buying a New Edge GT soon temporarily, but that does not seem possible in this car w/o a Supercharger.
