@ulreika Spot on, he turns on the ipod to prep for her coming over and it continues throughout the rest of the short film. Thats how I found it, and then fell in love about a million times over when I heard the full track.

@faerienik I think that it's his love song to the girl that natalie portman plays, there's a short movie called Hotel Chevalier which goes into the romance between jack and her. :]

I am here because of the movie "The Darjeeling Limited". I have often wondered why the writers decided to introduce this long at key places in the movie. What significance can it have in the context of the film. I always wondered if the character Jack (Jason Schwartzman's character) was supposed to be the 'girl' in the song.
