I'd have to join a monastery to if this guy had raised me...just to cleans myself of all the nonsense and bullshit he spewed out over the years. Personally I think Paddy is gay and since he is Catholic has to manage that urge. But in all the recent clips you see of him there is one guy you'll notice is always there (violin plyr), he and Paddy have a connection. Just feel bad that Paddy had to hide who he really is, must be hell.

@ClaudiaJAJAHAHA He passed away in 2002. Dan Kelly was like Joe Jackson, except without beating and abusing his kids like Joe did.

I believe that Dan Kelly was truly speaking from his heart and in an honest way. All you have to do is listen to their music and you will hear every human emotion there could possibly be. He encouraged his chirldren to have friends, be real, and keep trying, in spite of hardships. They shared so much love, joy, and hope, through their music. They are still doing just that! I have been comforted, inspired, and uplifted by the music of this beautiful family! May God's blessings be theirs today!

Ich kann's dir gern wort fuer wort uebersetzen falls du daran noch interesse hast. Dan spricht im Grossen und Ganzen darueber, wie erfolgreich seine Familie gewesen ist, aber dass die Musikindustry sie 1) krank gemacht hat und 2) sie falsch dargestellt hat.

Er sagt er moechte nicht undankbar sein, aber dass es romantisch sondern sau hart ist, 11 Kinder zu haben. Dass seine Familie entschieden hat gegen das heile Welt Image zu kaempfen und ne eigene Platte zu machen und sich selbst zu praesent.

@hillena I sometimes think that Paddy may have entered the monastery because of his sexual orientation and that he may be homosexual. To alleviate some of the guilt maybe. I don't know. Just a guess. There is a lot more that I would love to know about the history of the Kelly's as well as Paddy (the stuff they didn't show us on tv).
