Many of you have asked for a lesson on direct objects and direct object pronouns in Spanish, so here it is!

  • Este vídeo es muy bueno, pero vi un error. La traducción de una pregunta que nos dijo no era correcta. "¿Quién mira las películas?" no significa "Who watches the movies?" porque el verbo mirar significa "to look for" en inglés, no "to watch." Esta frase significa "Who looks for the movies?" En lugar de usar el verbo mirar, use el verbo ver en el fúturo.

  • @spanish583 J James, gracias por el comentario. En realidad, no es un error decir mirar películas, eso depende del dialecto. En algunos se dice mas ver televisión y en otros se dice más mirar televisión. Mirar puede muy bien tener el significado = to look at, to watch, entonces, podemos mirar fotos, mirar un mapa, mirar la TV, etc. Recuerda siempre que el español tiene muchos dialectos... to look for sería BUSCAR y no mirar, ok?
