Bicycle Cafe along the 'butchered' 'Greenway' cycle path

There is a fantastic bicycle cafe along the 'butchered' Greenway Cycle by the Olympic Site, Stratford. It is called The Container Cafe.

The Greenway used to be green but it is now like a road.

You will notice in the Olympic blurb on the Greenway ' someone wrote 'was' a haven for wildlife...

only non locals call it the greenway we have always called it the sewer bank and yes it stinks off poo most of the time

@drsquirrel0 - yes, they could paint it green 'as an after thought'. I'm waiting for them to squeeze some of this space into a 'Viewing Area' for cars. Clearly it is 'unfair' that cyclists 'should have all the fun'.

Maybe they are referring to the buildings? Next thin you know the "lane" will be painted green, green, blue, red... what colour road is next!

It also used to be only for Thames Water employees and smelt of that which flows under it.
