  • I love how people have a casual conversation when the band is performing. I would get arrested for beating the shit out of them and then miss the concert.

  • @2431346 that's quite boring, don't you think?

  • I love their classical intro:)

  • 2:49 whats the guy doing sneaking below the piano I wonder.. staring straight into yoshiki's...

  • @2431346 Saver Tiger is some really awesome stuff. Sarcophagus (instrumental) is how they start their show off, and then they bust right into Dead Angle. Totally badass

  • @Arkhandroid

I am starting to like saver tiger allot. Haven't heard much of their stuff. best old school 80's japanese metal band is DEAD END.imo.

  • @2431346

So is Dead Angle, look up the studio version. YouTube won't let me post the link.

  • @Arkhandroid

    sadistic desire was amazing.

  • @2431346

I understand your weeaboo remark, but I've been listening to X since I was like 12, long before the weeaboo nonsense happened. I like a lot of X's earlier stuff (with Jun, like Stop Bloody Rain and Lady in Tears) a lot more than the Pata/hide combination, even though a lot of that stuff is great too (Blue Blood, Silent Jealousy. Especially the stuff that was reworked from things hide did with Saver Tiger (Sadistic Desire).

EZO is another sweet band ( I really like the guitar riffs).

  • @Aetherbyte

EZO was accepted well by Americans. X Japan is watered down speed metal with too many pop ballads to be taken seriously by anyone who is familiar with 80's metal. They have a few good songs, but yoshiki isn't much of a drummer, pata isn't much of a guitarist, and toshi can hit high notes but it sounds like garbage when he does. I don't know any X japan fans besides weeaboos who state anything japanese > anything american.

  • @2431346 I'm sorry, you must be deaf. You are aware that Kurenai is being sung in English here, and is a glorious example of 1980s metal at its finest, right?

It has nothing to do with "culture" or place of origin.

The only clash here is that modern metal heads are pussies and would rather talk about facebook instead of pumping their fist and having their faces rocked off.
