Dedede is just a pain in the ass to play as with a ground character like Wolf.

If you have good (repeating) aerial attacks like Ness or Lucas or something like Pikachu's thunder it's not as hard but Dedede's grabs are just too ranged to initiate an aerial assault from someone like Wolf. He'll just block, grab, grab, grab, etc.

That looks easier on paper than in Brawl.

And there is such things as cheap. Metaknight's tornado is somewhat cheap. It has a huge range and you'll most likely get caught in it.

reflector gets out of chain throw, when throw gets stale. I think he can only throw twice before it gets out

I'm not sure what you just said, but I'm pretty sure it involves you taking this game a little too seriously, and using unnecesarily cryptic terms and/or phrases.Kinda like how doctors only refer to a femur as a femur because it gives them their own language.
