All That We've Been Through
Chapter One.♥

Nope, I'm not quite sure how I got to where I am, but I know I'm here and I'm happily dealing with it. My name is Elliot. Right now, I'm a sophomore in high school that's just barely surviving and this is my life. Now, I'm sure you're not too curious to know, but my life isn't normal. In fact, my first journal entry of freshmen year was, "So there's this guy that looks like this amazingly attractive actor and we just started talking like two and a half weeks ago and he said he liked me! Oh yeah, first serious high school crush baby. Life is goooood(:" I go back now and ask myself, "What on earth was I thinking?" But I guess that's where I'll start, when I first met this guy, at choir camp.

It was early August, just after my birthday. The first day of high school was approaching fast and I was totally not prepared, but that's normal. I was going to my choir camp and I was nervous out of my mind. I had been to the school early that morning to pick up some books I needed for my classes and the campus was huge. I knew where all the basic places were, like the cafeteria, gym, arena, football field, and academic building, but the little details I just couldn't grasp. I found myself alone and walking around aimlessly looking for the choir room. Little did I know, it was in the cafeteria, that's one of those little details, who would put a choir room IN a cafeteria?? Anyways, I sat there alone for awhile, waiting for my best friends since kindergarten, Ally. We've gone to the same school for the past 8 years and goodness knows, we weren't about to change that. She finally showed up and we sat there and talked and looked around. It seemed like most everyone knew everyone else, except us. A tall, bald guy walked in and introduced himself. I'm not going to lie, he sounds and acts like he's gay, ask anyone at our school and they'll agree. Anyways, he told us to go around the room introducing ourselves. And remember how I told you how I met that guy here? Well, I didn't really meet him, I just learned his name. Lucas. I never forgot his name. Not once. Ally and I argued later that night about what to call him; I insisted on Lucas and she insisted on the name of the actor he looked like. But it was time to get real. Freshmen year was just about to start and I knew no one. It's time for me to survive my first day of high school. Class of 2013, here I come.
