Damn... what's with the negative comments!
Much much respect.
This makes me want to move somewhere that matters so I can participate in these kinds of things.

I guess I didn't attend because I expected something similar to what is shown in these clips... though hopefully there was at least a little bit more to it than that.
Somehow I was a bit frightened while watching this video, though...
"This is what Democracy looks like!" was pretty effective as comic relief, I suppose.
To some extent, I really do feel that ussulysses makes some valid points above. ...Though I can't say that I completely agree with his actual summarizing statement.

No it's a wonderful thing. Except when those ideas have been proven wrong and harmful time and again, whereever tried. No matter how well meaning, socialism destroys lives. Capitalist democratic republics have brought the world every single thing these ingrates take for granted, that makes their virtual IM cellphone iPod YouTube world possible.
The spoiled children of the greatest system on earth embarass themselves. Chanting "this is what democracy looks like" in Che shirts, practicing mob rule and intimidation, disrupting citizens lives and ignoring the actual mechanics of our Democratic Republic. I love to see them walk around with iPods and cell-cams, surrounded by a beautiful city, posting their idiocy on the American-invented internet. They never look at the hellholes around the world that result from THEIR way of government.

You're right, it's really terrible to have ideas different from someone else's.

EgyptionSushi I hope you are joking. Because if you aren't, then you've come down with the compulsive liar syndrome, which the Bush Administration and their followers, whats left of them, suffer from.
