Refab Launch the Fantastic Flying Fish at the Lichfield Fuse

Almost, but not quite overshadowed by the Lord Mayor of Lichfield thumping the drinkers in the Kings Head this July, was the Lichfield Fuse Festival in Beacon Park. Where thousands of the residents of Lichfield who weren't being thumped by the Mayor flocked to enjoy a wet but fun filled weekend of music and other activities in Beacon Park including the making and launching of the Fantastic Flying Fish by local youngsters with the help of Refab. This video shows the procession and final launching of the fish onto the lake in the park. Quite early on in the video you may catch a fleeting glimpse of Brian Pretty a former Lichfield Mayor whose appearance has never been likened to that of John Prescott, and whose only claim to national media fame was the notorious Lord Mayors Ball of 96/97 when Nuclear Minogue got their kit off on stage at the Guildhall.
