Triangle Arts & Entertainment 2011 Reader's Choice Award for Best Brew in the Triangle

Triangle Arts and Entertainment, an online magazine reporting on cultural events in the Triangle, is pleased to announce the winner of our 2011 Reader's Choice Awards for Best Brew in the Triangle. The honor goes to Aviator Brewing Company, brewers of HotRod Red, HogWild India Pale, Devils Tramping Ground Tripel and a number of seasonal beers. More than 7,000 votes were cast in the competition, a testament to how serious beer lovers are about their brew preferences in the Triangle area.

Following the winner, the next top five finalists are Fullsteam Brewery, Lonerider Brewing Company, Roth Brewing Company, Carolina Brewing Company and Duck-Rabbit Brewery.

An awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, April 28, at 6 p.m. at the Village Draft House in Raleigh. Many of the brewers will be offering samples of their seasonal beers during the event.
