The # 1 cause of death for teenagers & young adults is car wrecks. Programs like this are awesome!

I didn't know alot about like, how like, the brakes work. I thought that was interesting like, how they, like, grind like that.

Should be more of this. The cars available to teens today are generally much higher performance than 30 odd years ago. In Aus., 'P' platers are killing themselves at a higher rate than ever before in these vehicles. The problem is so bad the Govt. is talking about raising the min. age for drivers....The sooner the better!
One of Toyota's TV ads here states; "Now you can be a revhead", That needs fixing too.....

I think it's a great idea and it's especially good because it's free. It's good that a car manufacturer is showing some care for young drivers.

Bravo Toyota! I'm a teen driver learning the ropes and this would be so cool as well as useful if they came to my town. Glad Toyota offers such a wonderful program for teens!

Wish we had this kinda of thing in Oklahoma....it would help alot to put things I do now in perspective. I also wish that they would offer a course in which you bring your own car, no matter how old/new it is, where you can learn how to break properly and react in emergency situations. I have a 87 Olds, and I still dont know how to brake or drive properly on ice or snow.

Teens and toyota dont go hand in hand
If you ment old people and toyota FORCING teens to take this then yeah your right.
If you want to make a teen to drive safe stick that teen in a sports car. Take that sports car around the track. In an Econobox you learn NOTING.

Driving Expectations is a defensive driving course, not a NASCAR fantasy camp. The free (not mandatory) training offers teens the chance to learn what to expect from their car, the road and themselves.
