It is a well known fact that these tigers are drugged, that is why they are so docile . I live inThailand but when I first arrived I wanted to go here too...until I spoke with the locals.

My life goal... To raise tigers or build nice little jungle or something that tigers might like and kick the ass out of deforestation.

I don't know...the tiger doesn't look like a peaceful Buddhist.

I went there last summer. they explained to me that you take pictures with the tigers after they eat so they are more relaxed. also they feed them chicken so we seem less appealing for them to eat. its a pretty amazing experience and i would recommend it to anybody who is in or is going to Thailand.

I have been there and can tell you that they are NOT drugged. In the heat of the day they just lay around...but after the last picture taking session you can (for a fee) go into the canyon and watch the tigers play and exercise...it's pretty amazing. I was within feet of these amazing animals as they were free from any leashes...and I watched them run and play.

@Rhed009 Thats not true, ive watched a number of documentaries about this, the tigers are so calm because theyve never tasted blood andf theyve always been around humans. An animal who has spent its whole life in close contact with humans is comfortable and calm, while lack of meat and blood means the hunting instinct is never awakened. The result is a gigantic domestic tabby :)
