@UnfoundWay They build parts of them cheap. Which is fine, who keeps the crappy plastic bumpers anyway? Trust me they have kept the tradition alive. The JK is all Jeep and all badass!

@UnfoundWay Indeed, I really like the new JK Unlimited's and I'll be buying a cheap "base" and throwing in a 6.1 HEMI V8, 3" lift, 35" tires, some nice new wheels, a Body Armor Roof Rack, and of course, metal off-road bumpers with winch capabilities and a rear swing-out tire carrier with cargo rack and jerry can holders!

@Xero852 I like the way you think. Now more than ever, a true Jeep is built, not bought.

I went to see a 2007 Wrangler when they first came out. I was offered $2000 more than my 2001 was worth, for a trade on the new 2007. After I test drove the 2007 Wrangler, I asked for my old 2001 Wrangler back. The 2007 and new Wranglers have lost the tradition Jeep kept alive from 1941 to 2006. Until Jeep gets rid of all the external plastic on the 2007+ Wrangler, I am holding on to my 2001.

@UnfoundWay Just replace all the plastic crap like any responsible Jeep owner.
