    לא, אתה טועה, והדעה שלך מנוגדת למזרחנים מצוינים שמבינים היטב וטוב ממך במזרח התיכון. אין שלום בינינו לבין מדינות שכנות, גם עם מצרים אין שלום אמתי למרות שיש הסכם. עדיין יש שנאה בין העמים ואתה לא יכול להסתובב שם בחופש ובביטחון מלא, בניגוד לארה''ב-קנדה לדוגמה. זה לא שלום במונח האירופאי. זה רגיעה, שקט, יציבות בטחונית... לא שלום

    הבעיה זה עם המוסלמים, אחרת כבר היה שלום...

    אבל עם חלק לא מבוטל מהעם הלבנוני - בהחלט יש שלום.
