  • "Merely the singer"......

Pentangle were always the sum of the parts.

  • Jacqui McShee;s voice is still good, although it seems to have lost the essence of what it was in her 1960's youth.

It all makes me feel nostalgic and regretful. We were (or thought we were) a singular, special generation. No one was ever young like we were, or would ever be again. Yet what are we now....? Pensioners. We who would not trust anyone over 30. Tempus fugit, friends.

  • How horrible to judge this lady so. Cant u accept ppl in aging? Everyones voice is a work in progress. I didnt hear her go flat did u? I saw her enjoying herself and it wasnt recorded very well so cut her some slack.

  • Did I say "dummer"? I meant drummer of course. Freudian slip!

  • What planet is the dummer from?

  • Watching Jacqui sing there i can see she is totally transported back to that time in her mind, but sadly the body ages and people lack the verve they once had,we all have that trouble. The voice is still there though and still enjoyable, still unique, peace.

  • @Redveg993 We now realise that we weren't special Red , we thought we knew everything and we knew nothing ..we would never trust anyone over 30 , now I wouldn't trust anyone under 30 ..Age is a great leveller is it not? ..

  • I'd pay good money to see this performance live!

  • Redveg...German magazine Stern commented the new Pentangle with "a few more pounds, a few more wrinkles - and still unbeatable."

Well - that´s like us, innit?

  • it's weird watching this after seeing the 1970's version. it's different and yet the same.

  • This drummer hasn't got a bleeding clue!
