Strictly Ballroom, for those who may not know it, is a hilarious Australian dance movie (which I've probably watched more times than is healthy). There doesn't seem to be too much love for this movie in fandom, so I thought I'd contribute my bit.

I love the movie too and don't wanna miss it in my life. Specially the rumba-scene with the doris day song. Never before I've seeen dancing a rumba so tender, soft and sensitive.

My Aunt did the Trailers for this movie. I got to see it in Sydney in July 1992 and thought it was wonderful! When It came out in America I got all of my friends to see it!

It was on tonight 29/5/11.
Australian acting legend Bill Hunter, who played Barry Fife in the movie, passed away last week aged 71.

I saw this movie yesterday for the first time with my boyfriend and we both loved it! It really is a great movie. Got on Netflix. Might actually get it on DVD. two thumbs up from me :-)

I adore this movie. Thanks for the video. By far Baz Luhrman's best one in his "red Curtain" series. I have to say while I have a great deal of sentiment for "dirty dancing", this movie touches me more.
