in my opinion this should have been the last episode, kaworu was all mr other world representative come to make the enemy of the whole series look like some kind of sweet pal, very awesome twist! and that still scene was so well done! I was like "wtf!...............*pause....

I prefer Evil Manga Kaworu. He's deliciously evil, magnificent bastard. And he killed a kitten. Nobody will ever let him live that shit down.

Maaan... Kaworu really is a weird character. I can't decide if he was genuinely the nicest and most heroic person in the series, or the greatest bastard in it all. The psychological damage he dealt to Shinji was truly massive. He made him -freely- choose between killing the only person that ever showed him genuine affection to save his own ass, or to die. That's harsh, if it was his intention. Well either way, I love him. <3
