The US govmt. is so self protective that I believe that we have some of the same coming here, especailly after Tuscon shooting. They probably have some nasty weapons that will burst eardrums and heat up the body of protestors here in the US. WE ARE QUICKLY BECOMING A POLICE STATE OF THE WORST KIND. @TheElMoIsEviL I agree. Treason, being the default position of obligatory loyalty and obedience to the state where upon failure to meet said prescribed duties results in punishment, is a rather archaic concept.

@TheElMoIsEviL It's a word I use wrongly, you're right.... Treason is usually about the betrayal of a Monarch, not a people... the betrayal of a people as far as I know has never had a term coined to describe it.

Though in the case of Assuange, I wouldn't say he was betraying the people... and he has no King.
