@csgskate iso is what will cause most noise. if you are in a bright place turn iso right low to like 100. you would only need iso to compensate for low light but the cmos sensors arent so good for it so it causes noise. longer shutter speed would help too.

what were your exposure, aperture, and iso settings? I just got a new 7D but i'm having trouble getting my video to come out with good quality. in particular, my video has alot of noise which is due to my lack of knowledge about DSLR video shooting settings, so if you could tell me yours it would be a huge help! thanks

@MxPMedia its better than a camcorder in every way, and with a cam caddie its easier to film on a board
