"Most times" is a wildly inaccurate statement. EDS is present in a small percentage of the population.
People are born with varying degrees of natural flexibility ranging from "stiff as a plank" through to "contortionist" and being very flexible certainly does not mean that a person has EDS.
Most times when someone has this degree of flexibility it could be a sign that they might have a genetic disorder called Ehler-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) it's often not diagnosed and/or it's misdiagnosed. Please read about it, for your own sake. Thank you. ~ A concerned mother ~
