@TheSWAFF Yeah, I was just backtracking from a site that said Cantrell used a Bogner preamp on his rack. Listening to this I hear "Facelift."
-
This IS the Facelift era Alice in Chains tone!
-
Initial riff sounded like "Flight Over Rio" by Al DiMeola. Been thinking about one of these amps myself.
-
ive always overlooked this amp cuz ive heard it cant do metal, where is your gain at on the od channel right now and does it get even more saturated than it is in this vid ... ive had uberschalls and i know it cant get that crazy but im convinced this amp can get brutal in the right hands ...
-
Dude, your improv is better than anything VanHalen has done in 30 years!
-
I wish i had that amp.

@bozley2005 No overdrive pedal, but it was a hot bridge pickup.

I saw your vidoe using the enater renegade live and it sounded really good. Have you played the shiva out live? I bought one but even though I tried really hard to like it I just couldn't connect with it so I sold it. Thanks for you videos!

@Wolftin3 Thanks! I gigged with the Shiva once or twice and couldn't bond with it. It was either muffled or bright and harsh. I could never find a good balanced middle ground.
Personally, I think the Egnater Renegade sounds ALOT better than the older Shiva I had.

Absolutely beautiful tone! What was the first thing you played?!

@Lazur120 Thanks! That's just a riff I made up right before I hit the record button on the camera.
