know what's fascinating? It's just the same as in the film, exactly the same. Note how Carol Burnett is seen doing the exact same move as Lily Tomlin in the movie scene- touching her own shoulder- and the rapt attention of all in the room.

I am still mesmerized by this song and KC's voice. I agree: the live audience response is almost identical to the staged reaction in the movie. Just shows how GREAT this is! Thanks for sharing.

So grateful to see and hear this again. I watched Mr. Carradine perform this on the televised Oscars. Is this the same Oscar performance, or a performance at the Golden Globes? I'm guessing the latter, but will stand corrected. Thank you so much, Mr. Carradine. Thanks, Drugo960, for this treasure.

Is this the same Oscar performance, or a performance at the Golden Globes? I'm guessing the latter, but will stand corrected. If memory serves, his performance at the Oscars was done at a slightly slower tempo, and the crowd was mesmerized to the core. Thank you so much, Mr. Carradine. Thanks, Drugo960, for this treasure.
