Donating My Hair to Locks of Love

http://facebook.com/jenniferburgessfitness After 2 years of growing out my hair, I finally had the 10 inches needed to donate to Locks of Love! I had just turned 30 years old and was 18.5 weeks pregnant with twins, so I figured I'd add one more drastic change to my life. It felt great to cut my hair and even better knowing that somone who really needed it was going to get it instead. I chose to do Locks of Love because I color my hair with an all-over color (see my how-to video on doing your own hair dye!). I don't highlight my hair, so it is acceptable as a donation to Locks of Love. Many might ask why I didn't just pull all of my hair in a ponytail and cut it all at once like you see on TV or other YouTube videos. We cut it the way we did so that we could get the most hair that Locks of Love would accept (they don't accept shorter than 10 inches) while also leaving me with as much of my hair to work with for a new 'do. If we had pulled it all back in a ponytail, I would have lost a ton of my hair that would also have been too short to donate. So, that's why! Hope you enjoy the video. Thinking about donating mine :) My hairs is very thick and long im sure someone would love all this hair haha. Im going to grow it out till the summer i think cuz i dont want short hair it would look bad on me lol.. Its a bit past my boobs lol...when its straight..my hair grows fast too
