The Importance of Tawheed by Shaykh Abu Sa'd Saalim bin Sa'd at-Taweel (hafidhahullaah)

The Esteemed Honorable Shaykh Falaah bin Ismaaeel Mundakaar, may Allaah preserve him was asked: 1. What is your opinion regarding Shaykh Saalim at-Taweel? 2. What is your opinion regarding those who say that Shaykh Saalim is lenient on Jamiyyah Ihyaa at-Turaath? 3. What is your opinion regarding those who criticize Shaykh Saalim at-Taweel?

Shaykh Falaah Mundakaar responded by saying: There is no need for this question. Shaykh Saalim is from the best and elite of the brothers, Mashaayikh and students of knowledge. Yes. There is no need for this question may Allaah bless you. Shaykh Saalim is from those who educate with, and teach as-Salafiyyah. He is an individual of honor (Ghayrah) and one who exerts himself (with regard to such matters). Yes.

It is to be said to these people; fear Allaah and seek knowledge. Seek knowledge with Shaykh Saalim so you know who Shaykh Saalim is. And I am certain that these people have not sat with Shaykh Saalim, nor have they sought knowledge with Shaykh Saalim, nor have they attended the sittings of Shaykh Saalim. Shaykh Saalim is from the most generous of the people when it comes to teaching the knowledge, fortifying the issues, and teaching the students.

This type of speech is not to be said about Shaykh Saalim. Rather, it is said to them to fear Allaah, seek knowledge and concern yourselves with the affairs of knowledge and that which will benefit you. Leave criticizing the Mashaayikh and the students of knowledge. They are to be advised, and it is to be said to them; go to Shaykh Saalim, learn, and do not criticize the students of knowledge.

As for the issue (of him) being lenient and the issue of speaking against the different groups, then Shaykh Saalim is from the first to warn against the groups. Rather, he is from the first whom this Jamiyyah* combated and spoke against. This type of speech is not to be said about Shaykh Saalim.

These people are ignorant of who Shaykh Saalim is, and I am certain that these individuals have not attended any of the sittings of knowledge with Shaykh Saalim, rather it is only it was said and he said, and they transmit these statements and this speech.

I say (again); they are to be advised, and it is to be said to them; fear Allaah, and seek knowledge with Shaykh Saalim. Learn the knowledge from him, learn the foundations of the issues. Concern yourselves with what will benefit you in the affairs of knowledge and the affairs of the Deen. These students, and those who transmit this speech are to be advised, and it is to be said to them to fear Allaah, concern yourselves with the knowledge, and seek knowledge from Shaykh Saalim, and attend the sittings of Shaykh Saalim.

Salam alaykum. Shaykh mentions the ayah from Surah Adh Dhaariyaat 51:56 "Wama khalaqtul jinni wal insi illaa liya'budoon." what other ayah did he mention? I seem to keep missing it. I.e. the second ayah from the ayaat which we should memorize.

Wa iyyaki! What do you mean by all the lectures the Shaykh gave? There is 12 parts to this lecture I hope they all uploaded I am new to this uploading videos on youtube and Im not too good with the computer stuff lol.
