What is the Day of Silence?
The Day of Silence is a student-led action where concerned students, from middle school to
college, take some form of a vow of silence to bring attention to the name-calling, bullying and
harassment—in effect, the silencing—experienced by LGBT students and their allies.

I hope this message gets out to ALL young people to let them know that words do hurt and you cant take them back.... I was bullyed as a child too and there were many days i was so scared to go to school. I just couldn't imagine being in his familys shoes and dealing with something so tragic... my thoughts and prayers go out to the Walker family and may many, many blessings be with ya'll.......
