Goy tells a Jew, "Jew, I don't like you, I'm really angry at you!" Jew says "Well Goy, you have 3 options available to you, you can either keep abusing me, kill me, or leave me alone" Goy says "Oh, thats easy, I know what to do :D", Jew says "before you decide please remmember, if you kill me, Jews in will get scared and Justify Israel existance, if you hurt me, I'll immigrate to Israel (palestine), but if you leave me alone, Israel won't have anymore Jews."

Yes, I guess that is why. This should be made more public now - If just for the sake of informing people and helping them having a more realistic understanding of Israel's population, no matter what their opinion is. Mizrahim have such a huge influence on the country's culture, yet people get away with calling them "a bunch of Europeans" in the name of "open-mindedness" (not that there's something wrong with being European). I'm is getting off topic from the video, haha.

@carnivval I agree with you! Even though the Mizrahi jews were 70% of Israeli Jews until 1990 and 50-55% today, nobody talks about the Jewish refugees. In fact the world thinks that majority of Israeli Jews were and are from Europe. I guess it is because of Israeli official policy of "melting pot" where Jews were required to blend into the Israeli society.

@carnivval If Mizrahi Jews left Arab lands voluntarily, then they would sell their land worth $300 Billion and property that was 4 times bigger than Israel. They would have enough money when they arrived in Israel. Fact is, many Jews were forced to sign papers to give their land to arab governments. Many were forced to leave without even signing the papers. Schools, houses, cemeteries, synagogues etc were all systematically confiscated.

By the way, Although I am a Christian American, my ancestry goes back to Tunisia. I do wear at times what is considered a "Yemeni" style Kippa. My point is I do have a vested interest in this issue, I have been involved all my life, and 95% of Americans I would dare say have no real complete knowledge or understanding of Judaism, Zionism, Aliyah, or the larger picture and history of Jews and Arabs outside of the media fed crap since 9/11. Victims of our own propaganda. Sheeple. Shalom Salaam.

This is old news, but popped up as a recommended video just now. Anyone who thinks the U.S.is neutral in the Palistini-Israeli disaster is in la la land. Israel is our 51st state, coming before Puerto Rico, Guam, and other territories. However, the U.S. is leaning more towards Palistini demands at this time. (December, 2011). The major force behind American policies is a duped Fundamentalist religious group of which I was once a part. I do support Yisroel, but am now much more open to Arabs.

@ManRealThe You remind me of a wife-abuser pleading for his wife to come back to him. "Darling, come back home. You are lying when you say that I hit you daily...it's just not true. Come home and all will be forgiven"
Do you think Jews really are that stupid?
-
Wow, "Voluntarily"?
I'm not saying that NONE of them left voluntarily, but come on. I believe around 1 million Jews were expelled. Anyone trying to understand the conflict SHOULD be aware of this. "Right of Return" arguments aside, I don't see why "Arab Jews' " history has to be completely ignored by both left and right wing media when they make up a majority of a country that is so often featured in world news. You can recognize them without undermining other people who've also suffered.

@Mozakhel Al Alam is an Iranian station. This is Iranian propaganda.
...Beside, why would a Jew return to a country were he will be a second class citizen? one who BY LAW is not equal to a Muslim? were he'll probably be murdered eventually?? Why would a sane man will move from a free, democratic country to a third world dictatorship?
The Arab world enjoyed the Jewish property they got when those were deported (which the UN estimate as triple as the Arab property in Israel) and now asking Israel to look after the Arabs refugees?
This is a double payment.

An incoming of mass Arab immigration mean the end of Israel as a Jewish state and returning to the same Dhimmi status they were in the Arab world, meaning more persecution, more death, more violence.
The population exchange between Greek and Turkey ended hundred of years of mutual killing, no one even ask to return to were he leaved before (the Greek heritage in Turkey goes way back to Alexander the Great..)..
Why do you think in Israel it should be any different?
