Legendary American singer-songwriter Paul Collins has recorded several albums in the genres of alt-country, indie, folk and Americana for his solo project The Paul Collins Band, a diverse group of musicians including Sheryl Crow guitarist Jeff Trott, Greg Kihn, Dave Immergluck of Counting Crows and key members of Chris Isaak's band Silvertone. Paul Collins plays hundreds of concerts each year with his solo project The Paul Collins Band and with his indie rock group The Paul Collins Beat, performing in U.S., Japan, Canada, Brazil, France, Italy, UK, Sweden and throughout Europe. Paul Collins' first band The Nerves toured with The Ramones, and funded their own tours and album recordings during the 1970s. The Nerves' song Hanging On The Telephone later became a hit and has been covered by Cat Power, Blondie and Def Leppard. After The Nerves disbanded in 1977, Collins formed The Beat, a high energy rock group who toured with The Cure, The Police, The Jam and countless other acts. Paul Collins Beat were one of the first pioneering bands to have music videos on the early MTV network. The music videos of Paul Collins Beat continue to be aired on MTV2 and can be seen on YouTube. Paul Collins Beat are offering the new album "Live In Europe" as a free full length CD and DVD video album audio download through their official website.
