HMS Victory in peril thanks to labour.

Labour, in usual form and always looking to do down Britain's great heritage, has concocted the idea of saving £1.5m of annual upkeep for HMS Victory and are trying to slide out of having to pay for even one of the highest profile and most illustrious pieces of Britain's proud inheritance - something that would never happen if and when a British National Party Government were in power.

What many people do not realize is that even the Victory (Nelson's ship, now can be seen in Portsmouth) is an identical copy to San Felipe, one of the best line ships of Spain. Wanted to make an image and likeness of this ship, including paints (yellow, black, etc) are the same as the San Felipe. The San Felipe was a very fast and maneuverable ship, also very beautiful, perhaps it was this that motivated them to make another identical

We all understand the stupidity of this current government, but if they have to understand one thing its this, "THE VICTORY MUST BE KEPT AT ALL COSTS" Why? Battle of Trafalgar is still very much remembered, respected and alive today in many true British minds. You only have to look back in History of what this country has acheived, and its our DUTY to Preserve and respect this ships acheivements.
