A review of the Crop-a-Dile from We R Memory Keepers. Main article on http://SundayLDesigns.com (buy at http://bit.ly/cropadile) A sturdy piece of kit, worth buying if you want to be able to cut holes into thick items, such as chipboard, album/book pages, tin, etc. Sets eyelets, but there are cheaper eyelet setters out there if that's all you want to do.

  • Very good tutorial!! I'm bummed with the Crop-A-Dile though. I bought it because it said it could set snaps and I bought the snaps and have been trying to even get the snap into the contraption for 2 hrs with no success. Once I finally got one into it, it destroyed the male end of the snap. Mine also advertised that instructions were inside, but when I opened the package, there were no instructions inside. Just for everyone's info. :)

  • @littlekat25 Do you have the instructions now? I can possibly scan mine and send you them? Assuming I still have them around.

Maybe anyone else watching can post a reply here to tell you if there are any videos showing the crop-a-dile successfully setting a snap!

  • I am a beginner scrapper and wanted to know if the eyelets that come with the crop-a-dile will allow a binder ring to pass thru it. What size eyelet do I need to buy for that purpose? Great video. I'm a big fan!!

  • Hi there, Depends what you mean by ring binder, however, you can get "book rings" through the larger eyelets (3/16 size), although they can be a bit snug at times depending on the make of eyelet!

  • @kamden1980 looks as if they are messing something up at the Factory on those instructions! lol. Maybe someone really needs to write the company. I ended up buying the old fashioned looking snap setting tool, but it works pretty good! So I'm good with that. :) I believe it was cheaper as well.

  • @littlekat25

I just picked up a set tonight, and had the same problem. It says right on the back of the packaging printed instructions inside, but none were included. Which is why I'm here, trying to figure out how to use them.

  • folks, "due bare in mind that hindge."
