  • Really, really awesome man!

I'm about to send my application via email to hopefully begin in February...I'm very exited!

How was your experience in Korea?

    Cheers man!

  • @EzequielDeniz Hey, that's great! I had a BLAST as you'll see from my vids. All the best. I hope you enjoy my vids and find them helpful. I have them organized better on my website which I can't seem to link here! Google my name and you'll find it :)

  • You're place is really nice! I am going to apply for EPIK in October for March 2010. Gangwon-Do is my first choice! I'm just trying to figure out which recruiter to go thru. I think that's the hardest part! :-)

  • Yes, that's sometimes the toughest part. The good thing is that if you want to go the EPIK route like me, there are only a few recruiting companies who handle the placements. They have to apply to represent the government and so that increases the likelihood you'll be dealing with a good agency regardless of which one you choose :) ....it's with the private jobs that things are a little more...hmmm...iffy sometimes. All the best!

  • Hey, how did your application go? I applied too I'm still waiting on a placement. it would be nice to hear from someone going through the same process

  • I found the process nice and smooth. I hope it goes that way for you, too!

  • are you saying all these were provided by your employer??? man! suddenly my job sucks!

  • Awesome, thanks for sharing.

  • Nope, didn't really buy anything. Whatever extra I wanted (i.e. curtains) the school paid for with the funding they got :)

When I first came to Korea, the EPIK peeps picked me up (and all the other teachers) at the airport & took us to orientation where we stayed for a week. Then all the co-teacher came and picked us up and took us to our apartments. That was the case for my group when we came, no idea if that holds true for the other groups or people who don't come in time for an orientation.

  • ohh thats cool so you didn't buy anything for your apt.Did you get he t.v for free too.

and how did you get to apt when you first arrived in South Korea?

now im so curious i hope you don't mind.lol :D
