While you don't hear everybody talk about this game, it's definitely one of the Sega Genesis' great. By the way, even though I was playing along with it, I was in no real danger at the beginning scene (it's only a cool set-up), only during the boss fight with the cat could I die. This is a platformer that has a quite unique presentation. The graphics are really good and there are plenty of colors, it's lively. The gameplay is great and fun. You play as Dynamite Headdy a puppet with a detachable head that can be "thrown" at enemies and objects. He's a little bit like Rayman except that Rayman's hands and feet are also floating in the air, but Dynamite Headdy came first. If his head is held on an object, his body will drop on the ground, but if you let go of the button, he will be propulsed upwards. There are a ton of power-ups (which you obviously won't see in this first quick sceme), some giving you better attacks, some making you tinier to go through smaller passages, some even making you sleep for a while (that's bad). Try it if you haven't already!
I played this on sega genesis collection on PS3.
It's BEAST.

As for the other levels, they're like a standard platformer where you go to the end of the level to proceed to the next one, sometimes having to fight a boss at the end.
