The recipe is very bland. I tried it. 2 suggestions -
1. Add a little garlic paste along with the minced ginger.
2. Add 4 green chillies (split into half) into d dish . Adds a little more spice and taste.

@mamun740 : The main flavor is from the Coconut milk. This recipe is from the coastal regions where there is abundance of coconuts and it is used in a lot of dishes.

What kind of oil do you prefer for this dish?

If you have mustard oil, it would be the best. Otherwise canola oil works as well.

Wouldn't the shrimp get tough if they are cooked that long? I can't wait to try this.

@FrodoDojo : One would think so but no! The shrimps are so juicy and succulent and the gravy keeps them from getting over cooked and drying up. Enjoy :)
