  • my sis just gave me her useless $1700.00 hp pavilion dv9700 laptop to see if I can fix it. I lay it on an ice pack and can get it to work for about an hour and poof! it's gone. Have they fixed the design flaw? Why replace the motherboard when the new part is still flawed?

  • @royalconcrete1 the dv9000 and dv6000 series have very fatal graphic cooling problems. it's mostly not worth to repair it.
