Please read this description! This is a short film about a Norwegian who has started three orphanages to support the oppressed Karen people.

The principle footage was shot on a Canon 7D in one day with one crew member, and minimal equipment. The b-roll was taken over three days.

This is a near-final cut. In the following weeks I will have an 'official' cut after I get some feedback from viewers. Some notes: The color correction is unfinished, as well as the motion graphics. Recommendations and thoughts are more than welcomed!

This was made with the supporte of the amazing Institute for Village Studies and Fairhaven College. I am not affiliated with the Christen church, but that does not change that I feel the work Ole does is nothing short of incredible. Thanks for watching, please watch in HD and full screen!

  • Wow, that was fantastic. The whole thing was beautiful, most particularly the close up with that razor thin D.O.F., which focused only on his eyes. It highlighted his emotions, and the way he cared about what he was doing. You did a wonderful job editing as well.
