i tried resetting my pixi this way and it kept saying my phone was the wrong version or something.
and JbiGTv, have you tried the button restart? press the colored button (i heard Pre is orange, and on Pixi is white, but under the "A" button), the "Sym" button, and the "R" button at the same time. it's kinda like ctrl + alt + delete for Palm. ^^

ok i have the palm pre i guess is the plus cus is from verizon n i followed all your steps i dont have the password for the screen lock so im stuck any ideas buddy i want to reset it

@amirzizle1 What he did NOT mention is that developer mode has to be enabled to do this.

I've tried to do this on two computers and I always get stuck at 2:46. I can't get past it, help if you can.
