Plus the fact it can surprise you and give a new challenge to stepmania, with some bug tweaking that wouldn't make the score go down it would be awesome.

But there are those that would label sims such as this and TSUSURVIVORGAMUSH as trash when, honestly, the exact opposite is true with but what you can do to SM to make it do what it does and the amount of work it takes. They are, however, working on #ATTACKS in SM4, last I checked that would make something like this work in the same fashion with many more options (outside of a mods course)...so it'll be something that may replicate this anyways.
