@TheBabyboomkidof53 Haha! I just think it's a perspective thing. Black people didn't have rights, women didn't really have rights, so on and so forth. How can so many people refer to them as the "good old days" when it was only REALLY good for certain people? I don't know, they say the times were simpler. I think that many of the same pleasures in life back then are around now, people have just forgotten how to enjoy them.

@dawb86 you sound like one of those history revisionists trying to convince everyone the goodtimes weren't really good.

@dawb86 by the way I speak as someone who knows what their talking about...I was there.

@dawb86 it sure was better days and times to me.if they had a time machine I'd step in and go back and you'd never see me this side of 1970 ever agian! the lifestyle was what I loved most.

@adryan108 LOL, thank you! I hate when people say that! These kids must've never picked up a book and read about the civil rights era, when a lot of this music was being recorded. I love the sounds, but they can keep the lifestyle back in the day!

Marv Johnson and Jackie Wilson were the "bread and butter" for Berry Gordy before the founding of Motown and other great Motown artists were developed. Marv Johnson is one of the all-time great voices. Love his songs!

The first true Motown song ever.

@friedtwinkies23 i highly doubt that

It's about time Marv is recognized for his contributions to Motown. It didn't just start with Smokey. :)

Thanks for this song. Maybe not so famous like others, but a wonderful one.
