2003 Ford Crown Vic Police Interceptor P71 0-60 0-100 0-115 mph acceleration video

This is another car of mine I finally got around to doing a video for. It's a 2003 Ford Police Interceptor, 3.27 trac loc rear end, all stock except for the rear cats have been removed (They were plugged due to a bad computer). No it was not topped out in this video, just ran out of road, it will do about 135. It's nothing special, just for comparison. I know it's not fast and I'm sure your 4-cylinder neon could beat it so don't bother posting comments like that.

i found with my p71 that if you launch it instead of pinning it from a dead stop it gets to 60 pretty quickly, i had a friend time my car and the best i got was 6.7 secs, god i love these cars

@marshall0792 By "Launch" do you mean power brake to get the RPMS up and then release the brake? If I did that I would be doing a 50 foot burnout even with the TracLoc.

@Carpoof1 I forgot to mention, if you watch my video response to this video, I did a top speed run and the 0-60 was way faster than in this video. It was in the neighborhood of 6.5 seconds I think.

@marshall0792 thats because you are getting your rpm's up to what it take to get your torque converter working good for you.....you torque converter locks at a set rpm and at that point the car will start to move alot better....

wow in the time it took to get to 60 my 1990 yamaha fzr 1000 would have been pass 110mph and its a old bike
