Is this the score that's used on the dvd version of this?

How anyone can dislike this is beyond me.

So hard to imagine this was made 90 years ago.

Rudolph Valentino's father's family were Russian Gypsy Circus entertainers.. Rudolph did try the high wire when he was younger. Much of what is known about Rudolph was fabricated by the studios. That is why, when he returned to his 'home town' in Italy, no one knew who him or his family.

NICE its CLASSIC!

@giorgiopizzieri It doesn't sound like La Cumparsita to me. In fact, it doesn't sound like any tango I know. I think it might have been composed by whoever was in charge of the music of this film.

@lauraalittle If the good die young, the goodest die youngest. Like Mighty Joe Young.
The official version is t Rudolph's father travelled extensively with the circus. Rumour strongly suggests that Rudolph's father was really a Romani Gypsy, but because of the intense racial hatred and prejudice, Rudolph claimed to be Italian. After leaving the circus and settling in a permanent location, his father worked as a Vet, mainly with horses. Valentino was an excellent horseman and dancer.

I LOVE this scene! No matter how many times I watch it -- or the whole movie, for that matter -- I'm swept away by the sex appeal -- IT? -- of that beautiful, graceful man. Oh, Rudy -- Why did you have to die so young?
