TKentT, you really should do a walk around of this machine.

Bad ass sno blower

How is the old girl doing this year (2011)? I thought that you might treat us to a newer video of her, especially with this past January snow fall that we have had.

thats a beauty

Nice machine. Great engineering. The historic house next store to where he is snowblowing reminds me of one back in Fond du Lac Wisconsin. Like this tractor, they don't make them like that anymore.

Everyone needs to check out the web site he suggested. You will see many really nice Simplicity - Allis Charmers - and a few rare Homelites that were either made by Allis or Simplicity it's a first class site.

How much would something like this cost me without chains or weights or snowblower?

Why don't you do a nice walk around video of her? I bet a lot of guys would like to see her in detail. I would!

ive got the 12 and a half twin cylinder briggs on my snapper that thing eats up the snow as well
nice tractor. i have a 1971 jd 112. the old machines are the best ever built, take care of it. what engine is it equipped with. i have a kohler k241 on my machine, its over 38 years old and has never been overhauled, at least not yet. you must have a briggs or kohler? the old machines will earn their keep if you maintain them, regardless of the brand. simplicity, john deere, IH cub cadet, case, toro wheelhorse. i could probably name even more but they were and are still excellent.

It has a cast-iron 12HP Briggs & Stratton -- the competitor to your Kohler.

It's not intended to be a ROPS -- just protection from wind and wind-blown snow. It works well for that, then comes off in the summer...
