Fav Base Coat:
#1) Nail-Aid 3minute artificials.
this is under $4 at walmart & gives the strength of gel nails at home & provide 11x stronger nails. Thier claim is True! I took off acrylic nails, and this made my nails strong & super shiney. good stuff & u cant beat the price.
#2) Sall Hansen Complete Care 4 in 1 Treatment
this product is very moisturizing & also provided a salon shine at home. works well alone or as a base coat.
#3) Nail-Tek. pricey, but really strengthens & protects nails.

You could use Orly Nail Whitener with Tea Tree Oil or something similar that SH has too.
I saw a couple reviews here that show that with some regular use, your nails go "whiter".
-
I have heard that if you cut a piece of onion (raw) and rub it on your nails, it suppose to help remove the yellowness from the nails. I've never tried it, though.

ATTENTION SALLY HANSEN LOVERS: PETA HAS REALEASED PRIVATE TESTING INFORMATION ABOUT THIS COMPANY: S.H. STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY AND DO NOT PURCHASE ANY MORE OF SALLY HANSEN. LOOK UP SALLY HANSEN ON PETA WEBSITE FOR FULL DETAILS. THUMBS UP FOR ANIMALS, COPY AND PASTE ON ANY VIDEO RELATED TO NAIL POLISH

I like store my nail polish in the fridge to keep them from drying out. #weirdtip

@MsChanelCupcake If you wear socks all the time, you can get nail fungus, and that's because your toenails can't breathe. So I think the myth that nails needs air, is true.
-
can you do an updated nail collection? :)
Nails don't expect oxygen, they don't need it because they don't need to breathe. Nails are made out of keratin, just like your hair, it's the reason why we can keep cutting our hair and nails without hurting ourselves. Nails needing to breathe = Myth
