@blkv8fb00 So your saying that you don't find any talent in Jason Belmonte and Osku Palermaa? Without people trying new things it would be impossible to master any sport, if there was no challenge any more then everyone would bowl a 300. In my hometown we have a 2 handed bowler that's only 16, and is dominating in the league i bowl in with a 225+ average, and has countless 300's.

@dw300 You make a good point, however no they will not dominate like you say. They will win and bowl well but will never be mention with the names of anthony, roth, holman, you get the picture. Belmo is a joke and i like osku much better because of his attitude. It hurts the game if you want to accept that or not. Anyone can palm a ball and rev it up it takes real talent to do it with one hand. Robert smith and kelly coffman threw way more ball then belmo and osku THAT IS TALENT.

@blkv8fb00 You've obviously never studied Belmo and Osku's bowling, or seen them in the flesh, or played a league 2 handed. They will dominate bowling, in fact they already are. Also, it has been proved that 2 handed have the MOST versatile release. Not having a conventional swing makes consistency lower, but not by so much that the increase in power from the more athletic delivery can't make up for it. Belmo and Osku probably also have the best balance and strength in the PBA at the moment.

he got a 300. but bowled 2 extra strikes XD

Revs and ball speed, I rev the ball up with a armswing and with my whole hand in the ball. Much harder to do believe me and i avg 220 bowling 3 games a week,. MY feelings on the matter is always met with negatively, but that ok because i tell anyone you want to be good in this game learn it the right way because jason, osku, never will be great they will win and bowl well, but you will never hear their name mention with the top bowlers in history. Trust me never happen

@c1o2d3e4y5 First of all being 2 handed does not leave you much room to be versitle. You are very limited in release and ball speed. Most 2 handed bowlers i see have very little talent. Throwing a ball with revs is not hard to do with no thumb, we used to do it years ago as a joke with a 12 lb ball. Having no armswing means you can never adjust like a conventional bowler who can ripped the holes out of the ball to totally throwing it straight. Cont:

@blkv8fb00 i agree with @jshoemaker97 im in a league in my town, im 17, i bowl 2 handed, and i average a 210. the only reason there arent many 2 handers in pba is because 2 handed didnt mainstream till jason and osku showed up. and its beside the fact that 2 handed bowlers dont need the arm swing because we produce more revs and greater speed. also jason and osku are wrecking the pba this season with both having 2 tour titles this season along with osku advancing to the world champ finals

@JShoemaker97 I know sir.. I been bowling a long time.. I dont like to bash a sport that i loved to do. Unfortunately it sad the game has regressed to the point where there is really no talented bowlers anymore. There will never be a great 2 handed bowler that will dominate over a long period, they are not and never going to be that good. The days of really good fundmentally sound bowlers is a thing of the past. The game is just not challengeing any more, high scores mean nothing
