@Marder74 There is a thread in the Wing Chun section of the kungumagazine forum regarding WC in full contact events. People who compete see WC one way. People who don't look for textbook techniques against resisting opponents. It would be great if you joined in the discussion to explain your views. btw, it was the first fight for the WC fighter,

so you can't expect perfection but he did get out there and bang unlike most Wc people.

@LeHammockRider age isnt an issue my friend, at that age you should be more advance in terms of skills experiences and in life than the younger generation, your right just find yourself a decent teacher and learn to what would suit you and your phsyical attributes, you should remember that most guys on here talking and conveying messages are ARMCHAIR GENERALS in simple english misleading maggots lol, Good luck for your training i hope you do learn and dont have doubt just do it!

I give Props to the two guys 55 and 56 for their endurance and fighting styles my age is right up there with them give by - 5years. I really could not tell what style these guys were using untilI I read the comments. No disrespect, this really looked like what you see tame in comparision to real street fighting, yeah I know this is organized and this my seem like a trainng bout but is is useful to see i can now see what Bruce was talking about.

I'm 46 and looking to start martial arts training. I've heard bad things about WC but after seeing this I think all I need is a good teacher. This is really impressive. Kudos to both of them. I take it WC is something you can practice for a long time?
