Android gallery not showing your sd card photo's issue - SOLVED!

I fixed my Android phone today after much frustration after i did a factory reset.
My default photo gallery app no longer showed all my photo's on my sd card.
I tried many other photo viewing apps but to no avail. It was as though my photo's weren't there any more.
However, they would show up in file managers so i knew they were still present.

This issue has been known to occur on Android devices (Mine being the Desire with 2.1 Non-Rooted) after updating to 2.1, 2.2 froyo or after doing a factory reset.

If you follow my simple instructions you will have no problems fixing this issue.

this is happening to my phone too..what do you mean by root your SD card?

Well, I just remounted the sd-card from settings and waited and wohoo after some time all pictures are there.
