Part 3 of the 3-part "Subterraneans Show" (1984). Featuring the Outer Hebrides' meanest rockinest garage combo of the time.
Part 3 is an attempt at a rock video, in which the band beam down from a UFO into a junkyard and mime unconvincingly to their paranoia-themed hit single "I Was Murdered By The C.I.A.".
Speaking of conspiracy theories, anyone who checks out the video for "The Subterraneans 1967" - which shows one of eagle Glenn Frey's early bands - will note that the cove on the right is wearing the same red and black check shirt as Bob Bitchin' (also on the right) is wearing here... 17 years later... Spooky or what?
For junkyard enthusiats, the location was Hebridean Tyre Services, between Inaclete Road and Bells Road in Stornoway.
